Burton didn’t just popularize snowboarding — they helped build the foundation of the sport itself. Founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter, the brand played a key role in legitimizing snowboarding at a time when it wasn’t widely accepted on mountains. Today, Burton continues to lead the industry through innovation, performance, and responsibility. As a certified B Corp, they’ve pushed initiatives like PFAS elimination, circular gear programs, renewable energy use, and fair labor standards across their supply chain.

I own and have used a wide range of Burton gear over the years, including outerwear, accessories, and two Burton snowboards. Their long-standing commitment to quality, durability, and the culture of snowboarding is why I continue to trust and recommend the brand.

With millions of active buyers and sellers worldwide, Etsy connects independent creators with customers who are intentionally seeking unique, non–mass-produced products. Its built-in search engine, review system, and buyer protections have made it one of the most trusted platforms for shopping small online.

Etsy isn’t perfect. Fees, policy shifts, and ongoing challenges around dropshipping and AI-generated content are real—but they’re also part of operating at scale. What often gets overlooked is that these fees represent costs every business faces somewhere: hosting, payment processing, security, apps, advertising, and maintenance. Etsy simply makes those costs visible while also providing traffic, trust, and conversion infrastructure that would take years to replicate independently.

Amazon’s affiliate ecosystem has quietly become one of the most powerful monetization tools for creators. Beyond convenience, the platform’s scale, logistics, and consumer trust allow creators to recommend products without friction—making it easier for audiences to act on genuine recommendations. A majority of Amazon’s sales now come from third-party and small business sellers, not corporations.
