Aloft Meadowlands Hotel Review: Stylish & Modern Stay Near American Dream Mall

Aloft Meadowlands

460 Harmon Meadow Blvd., Secaucus, NJ 07094

Rating: ♡♡♡♡♡ 5 out of 5 hearts

Aloft Meadowlands wowed us with its hip, upscale vibe and surprisingly affordable luxury. Our first-ever hotel date night was a hit: modern layout, cozy bed, stylish bathroom with sliding mirror doors, and Netflix-ready TV. The vibe is unforgettable. Within driving distance of the American Dream Mall and plenty of dining options.

Best Western Premier NYC Gateway Review: Great Lobby, Meh Room Near American Dream

Best Western Premier NYC Gateway

2650 Paterson Plank Rd, North Bergen, NJ 07047

Rating: ♡♡♡ 3 out of 5 hearts

Despite its name, this hotel is not in NYC. It offers nice common spaces but underdelivers on room experience. Confusing parking, lackluster breakfast, and a dead TV remote made the stay forgettable. Okay for a quick stay but not one we’d return to.

Harmony Suites Secaucus Review: Spacious King Suites Near American Dream Mall

Harmony Suites Secaucus Meadowlands

455 Plaza Dr, Secaucus, NJ 07094

Rating: ♡♡♡♡ 4 out of 5 hearts

A surprisingly spacious, comfortable hotel with some Wi-Fi quirks and AC inconsistencies depending on the room. Huge king suite with a living room, comfy pillows, blackout curtains (sometimes sticky), and a delightful waffle breakfast. One of our top 5 picks for hotels near American Dream.

Hilton Meadowlands Hotel Review: Stunning Hotel With Surprise Parking Fees

Hilton Meadowlands Hotel

Two Meadowlands Plaza, East Rutherford, NJ 07073

Rating: ♡♡♡♡ 4 out of 5 hearts

Gorgeous hotel with confusing pay-to-park signage that caught us off guard. The concierge helped us avoid the fee for one night, but we likely won’t risk it again. Room was lovely but small, with a queen bed that felt tight. Not much stood out beyond the aesthetic.

Howard Johnson Clifton Review: Sketchy Vibes, Shockingly Comfy Bed Near American Dream

Howard Johnson by Wyndham Clifton NJ

680 NJ-3 West, Clifton, NJ 07012

Rating: ♡♡♡ 3 out of 5 hearts

A budget-friendly, quirky hotel with mismatched décor and questionable vibes — but the bed was shockingly comfortable. Definitely a risk, but we slept well. Good parking lot visibility from the room. Conveniently located near the mall but rough around the edges.

Extended Stay Rutherford Review: Quick, Budget Stay Near American Dream Mall

Extended Stay America - Meadowlands - Rutherford

750 Edwin L. Ward Sr. Memorial Hwy, Rutherford, NJ 07070

Rating: ♡♡♡ 3 out of 5 hearts

Solid emergency stay with quick access to the mall. Rooms have kitchens but feel a bit run-down. No soundproofing, weird bathroom setup, and average comfort — but for $121 during a storm? Worth it. Book online only and double-check the address!

Extended Stay East Rutherford Review: Beware the Room Switch Surprise

Extended Stay America - Meadowlands - East Rutherford

300 NJ-3, East Rutherford, NJ 07073

Rating: ♡♡ 2 out of 5 hearts

Room #1 was a horror show: no bedding, uncleaned, visibly abandoned. Room #2 was better, but not great — uncomfortable bed, light leaks through curtains, noise from neighbors. Great service, but the experience didn’t redeem the stay.

Extended Stay Secaucus Review: Safe, Scenic, and Best of the Budget Bunch

Extended Stay America - Meadowlands - Secaucus

1 Meadowlands Pkwy, Secaucus, NJ 07094

Rating: ♡♡♡♡ 4 out of 5 hearts

The best of the Extended Stays. Clean, safe, friendly vibe with good parking and an unexpectedly beautiful view. Room had a strange sound and uncomfortable bed, but overall experience was pleasant. Quiet, secure, and ideal if you're visiting the mall.
